New Hailar Railway Station Completed

On December 27th, the opening ceremony of new Hailar Railway Station was held in Hulun Buir, Inner Mongolia. Leaders from both Harbin Railway Administration and Hulun Buir Government attended the ceremony. And Wu Yang, general manager of Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd., CRCEG, was also invited.

As an important part of Eurasia Land Bridge, Hailar Railway Station undertakes the task of passenger transportation for Hailar, Argun and other 4 counties of Hulun Buir. It is the first railway station of Harbin Railway Administration put into use after renovation, and also a landmark building of Hulun Buir. And as a key public project, it was financed by both Ministry of Railways and Hulun Buir Government. With a total area of 14584m2 and a total height of 21.35m, it is a two-storey building, 181.8m from the east wall to the west and 43.02m from the south to the north.

During construction, the project department attached great importance to safety and quality management, and overcame various difficulties, such as the lag of drawings, the tight schedule, the extremely cold climate, etc. Finally, the progress was sped up, and the goal to be open to traffic on December 28th was realized. Moreover, this project also obtained many awards, including the Structure Superior-quality Project Award of Heilongjiang Province (2011), the Excellent QC Team Achievement Award of Heilongjiang Province (2012) and the Excellent QC Team Achievement Award of CRCEG (2012).

With strong ethnic characteristics, Hailar Railway Station will play a significant role in promoting the economic development of Hulun Buir, and become a brand-new window for people to know more about this city. And as the northernmost station contracted by CRCEG, Hailar Railway Station is also a big new-year gift for Hulun Buir Grassland.
