Contracted by the International Engineering Company of CRCEG, the project of the athletes’ village for Pacific Games of 2015 was started in PNG on April 22. With the total floor area of 44,000 m2, it consists of 10 3-storey buildings mainly for athletes’ dormitories, and is planned to be finished by Feb. 27, 2015.

Regarding PNG as an important strategic overseas market, CRCEG has made some in-depth investigations, and formed an overall industrial chain integrating property investment, design, construction, material trade, etc., thus enhancing its core competitiveness and profitability. Especially in the field of building construction, CRCEG has taken actively part in the civil and municipal engineering, erecting high-quality buildings on the one hand, and on the other, increasing the local employment. Besides the athletes’ village for Pacific Games of 2015, CRCEG have also contracted the construction of the Municipal Hall of the National Capital District in Port Moresby, and an 18-storey service apartment building. And the total contract value of those three projects mentioned-above amount to $279 million.
