The joint of Zhouhe Super-large Bridge has been finished recently, which marks its completion of the main structure. As the first crossing-river bridge contracted by CRCEG, this bridge is part of the dedicated railway line for Dazhou Chemical Industrial Park.
As an important supporting project for Dazhou in logistics infrastructure, this dedicated railway line is a significant distribution center for commodities and also an operation center for hazardous chemicals. Started from April of 2010, Zhouhe Super-large Bridge is a controlling project node for the construction of this dedicated railway. And it’s about 842.46 meters long. With high piers, deep water, large span, etc., it is difficult to carry out the construction and the requirement for technology is also very high. However, all staff members of the project team work hard to improve relevant technical proposals, and both elaborate management and standardization construction have been implemented and strengthened. From pile foundation construction to cantilever beam construction, the project has made many technological breakthroughs.
The successful joint for the main span of Zhouhe Super-large Bridge has laid a solid foundation for side spans and bridge deck construction. And the whole project team promises to accelerate the construction process in the next few months, so that the bridge will be finished completely by the end of this October, and the dedicated railway line for Dazhou Chemical Industrial Park will be put into operation by next March.
